['The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has invited online applications for direct recruitment to 458 posts of Junior Engineer (Civil) in the Public Works (R&B) Department (176 posts) and the Jal Shakti Department (282 posts), UT cadre, under Advertisement Notification No. 11 of 2026.', 'Candidates must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and must possess a valid domicile certificate on or before the last date for submission of online application forms.', 'Selection will be made on the basis of merit in a written / OMR examination only, with objective-type multiple-choice questions in English and negative marking of one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question for each wrong answer.
