The National Testing Agency opened the online registration portal for the UGC-NET December 2026 examination on 08 October 2026 (public notice dated 08-Oct-2026 on the official portal). The exam will be held in Computer-Based Test mode across 87 subjects for determining eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship, Assistant Professorship and Ph.D. admission.
