RRB NTPC recruits for graduate and undergraduate non-technical posts — Station Master, Goods Guard, Clerk, Ticket Collector, Accounts Assistant and more. Two CBT stages are followed by an aptitude or typing test depending on the post.

CBT-1 (First Stage)

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the negative marking in RRB NTPC?A: One-third mark is deducted for every wrong answer in both CBT-1 and CBT-2.
Q: Is there a typing test in NTPC?A: For clerk, accounts and similar posts, a Typing Skill Test follows CBT-2. Station Master posts require the CBAT aptitude test instead.
Q: Do CBT-1 marks count in final merit?A: No. CBT-1 is only for shortlisting to CBT-2. Final merit is based on CBT-2 plus aptitude/typing scores where applicable.
